We would like to help you guys out, by telling you about more great opportunities to promote your project. Some of them are paid of course, but some of them are also free, if you lack starting funds.
Facebook advertising is one of the most popular tools you could possibly use. It provides you with the ability to target specific audiences that you know will like your project and invest in it. With thorough research, you can maximize the potential Facebook Ads provide.
We urge our founders to look up Facebook Ads and the best ways to approach it. We can maybe even do a post about it if enough interest sparks.
Bitcointalk forum has been around for a long time. To be more precise I will quote the website:
“The Bitcoin Forum is a website meant to host free discussion of Bitcoin and related topics. It is operated mainly as a service to the community, and the vast majority of income after expenses is either saved for future expenses or reinvested into the forum or the community. The forum was started in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto ,… “
The advantage of promoting your project on this forum is that it’s a great target audience if your project is blockchain related. The downside being that there are a lot of projects promoted everyday and your project can get lost in the pile of threads. However, if you really work hard and put in the effort to provide valuable information and your project is innovative, we are sure that you will receive the attention you deserve.
This method is only useful if you have a predetermined list of e-mail or if you have collected e-mails on your pre-launch website. Of course, feel free to send e-mails to your friends and family, but that’s a whole other topic.
Influencers are gaining popularity for promoting new aspiring projects and ICOs.
The important thing here is utilizing their real followers. A lot of influencers have fake followers, but charge a large price regardless. The key is watching the engagement on their posts and pricing accordingly.
When you reach media newsfeeds, you’ll instantly stand out of the crowd and reach out to potential investors as a credible project that’s a potential valuable investment. Just make sure you reach out to the right influencers as that is very important. Reaching out to the wrong influencers could essentially be like throwing money away. Choosing them inside your niche is the best way to secure that your audience is close to hand-picked.
The thing is, people always trust projects or products that are recommended to them by a leader or in this case influencer. Influencers are essentially the leaders of consumers.
LinkedIn is often overlooked, but like we said in our previous post, it’s a formal social media that can provide serious traffic to your project.
It’s also a great place to connect with potential investors as there a lot of serious businesspeople there. Try to utilize LinkedIn groups for maximum reach.
Face to face
People underestimate face to face contact in today’s digital age. Word of mouth still spreads quickly and there is no telling how far it can reach. Try to visit networking events in your town at least on a monthly basis so you can keep in touch with likeminded entrepreneurs.
Friends and Family
Announcing your project to your friends and family is great, but following up on the announcement is even better.
Always keep a list of the people you’ve spoken to about the project, their responses and if they expressed potential interest.
Follow up on those that have expressed interest, as you can’t expect busy people to think about your project. They need reminding.
One more thing, don’t forget to tell your friends and relatives to share the project with their circle, because that way you can grow the audience.
Well that wraps it up for today’s article. As always, we will continue to provide you guys with the necessary knowledge to make your dreams a reality. Until next time, keep working hard!
